Alfa Romeo’s first SUV, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, will be available to the Australian market in early 2018.
The Stelvio will be offered in either a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder 149kW petrol engine with 330Nm of torque and a 0-100km/h of 7.2 seconds or a 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder 156kW diesel engine with 450Nm of torque, which will reach 100km/h in 7.6 seconds. A third engine will be added closer to the release date.
All variations will come standard with safety features such as autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, reversing camera, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert.
There are two interior packages, either the Lusso featuring luxury leather upholstered front seats, heated steering wheel, and walnut wax accents or the Veloce which will receive sports leather seats, sport steering wheel, an aluminium interior trim including aluminium sports pedals and red brake calipers.
Pricing and final specs will be announced closer to the launch date.
