The 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 S has been revealed with gobsmacking specs! The E63 S will reach 100km/h from standstill in 3.4 seconds according to Mercedes, thanks to a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. Power is rated at 450kW and torque at 850Nm. Max speed for the base E63 S will be 250km/h and 300km/h if the AMG Driver Package is added.

The stock E63 will be rated below the E63 S with 420kW of power and 750Nm of torque. Mercedes claims the new all-wheel drive system is the most complicated ever, combining various drive configurations. A ‘Drift Mode’ option is available, along with a ‘Race Mode’ which disables electronic stability control and makes the car purely rear-wheel drive. Expect to see the E63 and E63 S in showrooms later this year.
